Hello Me – Terms of Service
Last Updated: 9 December 2022
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you (the user) and HelloMe. These Terms apply when you use any HelloMe app or, if applicable.
Please read this carefully—it explains your rights, what you can and can’t do with the app, how we handle data, and how disputes will be resolved. Our Privacy Policy is part of this agreement too.
1. Licenses & Subscriptions
When you download a HelloMe app, you get a basic license by default.
You can upgrade your access by purchasing a subscription or bundle.
Subscriptions may be monthly or yearly. Prices and offers are shown before you buy.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel through your app store.
Paid plans may include extras like backups, syncing, unlimited entries, exclusive content, etc.
All purchases are final. No refunds. When you buy, you give up the right to withdraw and agree we can deliver the service right away.
2. App Updates
We may change or update the app at any time—for legal reasons, improvements, or bug fixes.
Updates can be installed manually or automatically.
You don’t have to update, but older versions may stop being supported. You can stop using the app if you don’t agree with changes.
3. Ownership & Usage
Everything inside the app—quotes, designs, code, sounds, images, etc.—belongs to Hello Me or our partners.
You’re only allowed to use it for personal use. You can’t sell, copy, modify, share, or reverse engineer any part of the app.
We give you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app on your devices linked to your Apple ID or Google account.
Subscription users get access to more features depending on what they paid for.
4. What You’re Not Allowed To Do
You must not:
Sell or share your access to the app
Modify or copy the app
Share your login details
Use the app for anything harmful, illegal, or offensive
We can suspend or cancel your account if you break these rules.
5. Your Content
You may upload content like journal entries, moods, trackers, photos, etc.
By uploading it, you give us permission to use it to improve the app. We won’t sell your personal data, but we may use your inputs to build better features.
You agree not to upload anything illegal, harmful, or that violates someone else’s rights.
We can remove content that breaks the rules and may suspend your account if needed.
If you break these terms and we get sued, you agree to cover our costs.
6. What We Promise
We promise to follow Danish consumer law and make sure the app works as described.
The app should meet the standard quality you’d expect from similar apps.
7. What We Don’t Promise
We don’t guarantee the app will always work without issues.
We don’t promise the app is free of bugs, malware, or security risks.
We don’t guarantee you’ll see any mental health or productivity improvement.
We don’t promise the app will always be available or that every feature will stay forever.
Use at your own risk—especially if you rely on it for something important.
8. Health Disclaimer
This app is not a substitute for therapy or medical help.
Don’t delay seeking real help because of anything in the app.
The app is designed for general support and reflection only, not medical treatment.
9. Limiting Our Responsibility
We’re not responsible for things like lost data, lost business, or personal loss unless caused by gross negligence or intentional harm.
If you misuse the app or rely on it for something beyond its purpose, we’re not liable.
If we stop supporting an old version of the app, we’re not responsible for any issues you face as a result.
10. Handling Disputes
If you’re unhappy, please email support@hellome.ink first.
If we can’t resolve it, any disputes will be handled through arbitration in Copenhagen, Denmark, under Danish law.
If you live in the EU, you can also file complaints via the EU’s online platform.
Danish courts have the final say over any legal issues.
11. Device Support
Not all apps work on all devices. Check the app listing in the Apple or Google store to see if your device is supported.
These Terms apply no matter what device you use (phone, tablet, or web).
12. Payment Issues
If you don’t pay for your subscription, your access may be downgraded or revoked.
If you cancel, you’ll keep access until the current period ends, then go back to the free version.
13. Ending Use
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
If you’re a subscriber, cancel your plan and delete the app if you want to fully stop.
We can end your license if you break the rules or if we decide to stop offering the app (with notice).
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect legal changes, new features, or better clarity.
If we make big changes, we’ll try to let you know (e.g., email or in-app alert).
By continuing to use the app, you agree to the updated Terms. If you don’t agree, you should stop using the app.
Always check the date at the top to see the latest version.
Let me know if you want this in a legal-style layout, PDF format, or embedded directly in your FlutterFlow app as a Terms of Service screen.
